Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, born in Mexico, was born to an adored family of musicians. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to traditional music, boleros from the past, and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana has a passion for Tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. Following her singing lessons with mom and sister, she began more intense training in singing at 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. While a young student and professional, she performed with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choirs in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. After moving to America, United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002 she relocated to Southern California. She is a frequent soloist at private parties and events singing classical Latin American Music. In addition to being an instructor and performer in the local area and instructor, her passion for music and art keeps her involved in a range of projects. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor of The Performance Loft. Ana hopes that with her performance of Latin American traditional songs, that she can inspire a love, especially for the young generation, for keeping this music alive.
