MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest within music in the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 was awarded an Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song in 2017. The album he released as his debut ADN was issued through La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. It peaked at number eight in the Top Latin Albums chart. The following year, he collaborated with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the Top Latin Albums chart. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina the next year. Then in 2021 he sang a duet on the TINI streaming hit track Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo is a renowned musician, born in a home with a music program. His mother and brother were both musicians. In his interviews, he said music participation as mandatory. While a boy, he studied the guitar as well as the saxophone. Though his original career plan was becoming veterinarian but his brother Julian encouraged him to start studying singing with an instructor in Cuban. It revolutionized his entire life.
