Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress, known for roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. She began her career in the 80s before coming into prominence thanks to her character in Tezaab, a film in which she was a part of the cast alongside an established actor Anil Kapoor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir as part of Dil. Born into the Mumbai middle-class family, and started dancing in her early years. Early in her life, as she began acting as a young actress, most films that she made weren't successful. Then, she discovered success in Indian filmmaking and rose to the very top. The marriage of her mother led to a hiatus in her career. She returned later. Recently, she played an important role in Gulaab Gang. The film focused on the struggles of women in India. Dixit is nominated in 15 Filmfare Awards. Of these she's won eight. Padma Shri - the fourth most prestigious civilian award of India is awarded to Dixit. Also, she has earned a name for her social activism.
